How to crochet a Baby Coat?

To make your own Bunny Hug Baby Coat simple follow the simply written crochet pattern and you’ll have a chunky, hooded jacket for baby girls in no time!

I used Dreamy Wool Chunky Baby yarn, which is a bulky weight 5, giving the coat a soft and cozy feel. You will also need three buttons, I chose wooden toggle buttons for a classic coat style.

This crochet baby coat pattern is simple to follow and easy to make, it’s mostly made with half double crochet stitches.

Also, the coat itself is made in one piece, and the bunny ears and tail are sewn on separately for a playful, floppy look. It is worked in raglan style and features simple waist shaping for a comfortable fit.

Make sure to check your gauge so the size comes out correctly. The pattern is available in US or UK terms, making it easy to follow no matter which writing style you prefer.
