If your looking for a scrap yarn project this Spring you might just love this free crochet daisy applique pattern! The small crochet appliques work up in minutes and look great sewn onto most crochet projects such as baby blankets and hats to give them a pretty, flower theme. This easy crochet applique daisy is suitable for beginners too!

How to crochet a daisy applique

The mini daisy applique crochet pattern is great to use up leftover scrap yarn. It’s a quick and easy crochet pattern and the small daisy applique crochet pattern is beginner skill level. They work up very quickly, in one piece and require no sewing. The appliques use only a tiny amount of yarn, making them a great stash buster. To make the appliques I used DK/Light Worsted yarn and a 4mm crochet hook. But, you could try out different yarn weights with the recommended hook for different sized flower motifs. If your looking for a project to sew your daisy too, take a look at this adorable daisy themed doll’s outfit.
