Thanks for checking out my Christmas tree appliqué crochet pattern. I made this Little Christmas tree with the intention of using it as a Christmas card topper, I think I might also sew one to a coffee cozy too, it will make a lovely stocking filler.

Christmas tree appliqué description

The appliqué can be sewn onto almost any of your crochet creations to make them look festive. It has a lovely bubbly texture which I love! When made it is a little floppy so it couldn’t be used as a hanging decoration but the list of things you could see it too is absolutely endless.

How to crochet a Christmas tree applique

To make the Christmas tree crochet appliqué I used DK (weight 3) yarn in 3 colours. As you can see I used green, brown and mustard. I used a 3mm crochet hook. This Christmas tree is made in one piece, no sewing involved. Well, not until you need to sew it into your project at least. The crochet pattern is easy skill level. As well as needing to know your basic stitches you’ll also need to know how to make a cluster stitch.
