Free Crochet Pattern Tooth Fairy Bag

This free crochet pattern for a tooth fairy bag id a quick and easy project. As soon as my eldest child’s tooth started wobbling I decided I wanted to make her something special and sentimental for her next visit from the tooth fairy. She was overjoyed, and luckily I had my yarn delivery just in time to finish the bag on the big day.

Tooth fairy bag description

The Tooth fairy bag is a super cute little keep-sake that can be left out for the tooth fairy. The bag will stand up on its own on a shelf or can be hung up. The tooth fairy bag measures 10cm wide and 14cm tall, including the handle. It is big enough to hold coins or notes. Also, the tight stitches leaves no gaps so teeth cannot get lost in any holes. The crochet tooth has a cute little tutu, crown and wings.

How to crochet a tooth fairy bag

The tooth fairy bag crochet pattern is easy skill level. You will need to know all your basic crochet stiches to complete the pattern. The bag is mostly made in one piece and there’s minimal sewing involved. You’ll also need to have an understanding of tapestry for the face. You could of course use safety eyes for a simpler alternative. To make the tooth fairy bag I used DK (weight 3) yarn. I used a 3.5mm crochet hook. The crochet bag uses approximately 15g (42m/46yd) of yarn.
