    Pattern Notes

    • Chains and slip stitches are not included in stitch count.
    • Stitches separated with a comma are to be made in separate spaces. For example, 2sc, sc x 2 would mean 2sc in first space, sc in next space, sc in next stitch.
    • The spiders legs may need a gentle press with the iron to stop them curling.

    • ch x 6 then start in 3rd ch from the hook
    • 3dc, dc x 2, 6dc
    • In chains on opposite side: dc x 2

    Spider Eyes


    Round 1

    • Use white (B) yarn
    • In a MR, ch x 2 & dc x 12
    • sl st to first st & fasten off
    • Repeat to make 2 eyes

    (12 sts each)

    Assembly

    • Insert 14mm safety eyes into the MR
    • Sew both eyes together
    • Sew eyes to the top of the spider body

    Spider Cheeks


    Cheeks x 2

    • Use pink (C) yarn
    • In a MR, ch x 1 & sc x 6
    • sl st to first st & fasten off
    • Repeat to make 2 cheeks

    (6 sts each)

    Assembly

    • Sew the cheeks on the R3 of the body, next to the smallest legs

    Spider Mouth


    Assembly

    • Use pink (C) yarn
    • Sew a mouth onto R2
    • Weave in any remaining ends.
