Cutie bear doll hat description

The cutie bear doll hat is designed to fit 18″ dolls but fits nicely on most 14″ baby dolls too. The simple beanie is mostly made using the half double crochet and has a basic cuff. The dolls hat is topped with crochet roses, leaves and of course cute little bear ears. The pattern uses very little yarn and works up super fast.

How to crochet a dolls hat

The cutie bear doll hat crochet pattern is easy skill level. You will need to know all your basic crochet stiches to complete the pattern. The pattern itself is pretty easy and would be suitable for beginners with good sewing skills. Overall its a very fast easy crochet pattern that’s great for using up scraps of yarn and will definitely put a smile on any doll loving child’s face. To make the dolls hat I used DK (weight 3) yarn. I used a 4mm crochet hook. Please check your gauge before starting and adjust your hook if you need too. This will ensure that the hat fits your doll. The crochet bear dolls hat uses approximately 28g (79m/87yd) of yarn.

  • Stitches separated with a comma are to be made in separate spaces. eg. (sc, 2hdc) would mean sc in first stitch then 2 hdc in the next stitch. eg. (sc x 2, 2hdc) would mean sc in first stitch, sc in second stitch, then 2 hdc in next stitch.
