The Halloween witch hat crochet pattern is great for whipping up last minute for a little Holiday fun! The first thing you’ll notice is the witch’s hat is attached to a hair clip.

If you don’t have a hair clip handy you could also easily sew it to an elastic. The completed Halloween hair accessory measures just 9cm wide and 6cm tall.

How to crochet a small witch’s hat

So the witch hat crochet pattern is easy skill level. You will need to know basic crochet stitches as well as being able to increase & decrease.

You’ll also need to do a simple color change. Additionally, basic sewing skills are essential to attach your witch’s hat to your hair accessory.

Overall it is a very quick and easy project and uses very little yarn. Speaking of yarn, I used DK (weight 3) yarn with a 3.5mm crochet hook to complete the project.
