Thanks for checking out my dollhouse laundry basket crochet pattern. I bought my daughters a dolls house complete with furniture for Christmas last year. Even with all the furniture included it didn’t have a personal homely feel and really lacked personality and accessories. With this in mind I started designing and crocheting modern furniture and home accessories for their 12” fashion dolls and 1:6 scale dolls house.
Doll house laundry basket description
This doll house laundry basket crochet pattern is part of my dolls house bathroom bundle which includes a laundry basket, towel, soap, soap dish, face cloth, bath mat, pedestal mat, storage unit and a cute little bath duck! The laundry basket will fit any 12” fashion dolls and doll houses at 1/6 scale. The modern laundry basket includes a lid and makes great storage for dolls clothes.
How to crochet a dollhouse laundry basket
I used DK (weight 3) yarn to make the project with a 3.5mm crochet hook. Importantly, I encourage you to make your gauge swatches so your items are in the correct size. I used 3 different colours in my design. You don’t need a lot of yarn so it’s a great pattern for stash busting. The doll house laundry basket crochet pattern is easy skill level. You’ll need to know all your basic crochet stitches as well as being able to increase/decrease. There is very minimal sewing involved to attach the bow.
