Octopus Body
Crochet 2 octopus bodies, 1 in each colour.
Round 1
- sc x 8 into a magic ring
- sl st to first st & ch x 1
- Do not weave in the magic ring tail
8 sts
Round 2
- 2sc x 8
- sl st to first st & ch x 1
16 sts
Round 3
- (2sc, sc) 8 times
- sl st to first st & ch x 1
24 sts
Round 4
- (2sc, sc x 2) 8 times
- sl st to first st & ch x 1
32 sts
Rounds 5 – 10
- sc x 32
- sl st to first st & ch
- Fasten off after R10
6 rounds
Faces
- Insert safety eyes on R5, 5 sts between them
- Make a tapestry mouth on R7, 3 sts wide
Round 11
- With both pieces inside out, tie the magic ring yarn ends together
- Fold pink body over multicolour body
- Make sure the both faces are in the same position
- Use multicolour yarn
- Join both pieces by sl st inside loops together (pink BLO & multicolour FLO)
- Fasten off & weave in ends

Round 1
- Continue with multicolour yarn & work into R11 sl sts

- ch x 17 then start in 2nd ch from the hook
