Crochet Patterns for Kids

Free Reversible Whale Crochet Pattern – Flippy Friends
Copyright © Hookfully

The free reversible whale crochet pattern has got to be one of my favourite Flippy Friends crochet patterns so far. There’s something about crocheting sea creatures that makes me feel exited for Summer and trips to the beach with my children! The amigurumi whale changes colour when you reverse it. You can also change his facial expressions for a bit of extra character. The whale plush is a fun interactive alternative to a classic stuffed toy, its ideal for children who love to fidget.

How to crochet a reversible whale

The reversible whale crochet pattern is easy skill level and is also suitable for confident beginners. Its made simply with the single crochet stitch and some increase and decreases. There is minimum sewing and tapestry required to complete the reversible whale toy. As the plush is made with super bulky blanket yarn it works up super fast, and the squishy yarn means it doesn’t even need any toy stuffing.
