Free Summer Doll Clothes Crochet Patterns

    Summer dolls clothes description

If you’ve been searching for a free Summer dolls clothes crochet pattern this one is for you. With summer fast approaching and the spring weather getting warmer I was inspired to create a little summer outfit for my daughters 18″ child doll.

The summer doll clothes set features the shell stitch and includes a cute crop top, summer shorts and even a pair of little shoes.

The Summer dolls clothes crochet pattern bundle includes a crop top, short and even a cute pair of shoes! The outfit is made using the shell stitch for a lovely texture and beachy theme.

The crop top has a halter neck which ties up around the neck and a button to secure the main part. The summer shorts features a drawstring-style belt allowing them fit a wider variety of dolls.

The little shoes have a double sole keeping them firmer and more realistic. The dolls clothes are designed to fit 18″ child dolls and can be adjusted slightly for smaller or larger waists by adjusting hook sizes.

How to crochet summer doll clothes

The Summer dolls clothes crochet pattern is easy-intermediate skill level. You’ll need to know basic crochet stitches, increase and decrease. The pattern uses the shell stitch which is super easy to follow.

The crochet pattern involves very minimal sewing, to be more specific you will need to sew up the crotch of the shorts while weaving in the ends.

The dolls outfit works up super quick and uses DK (weight 3) yarn. I used a 4mm crochet hook to make my doll clothes but I recommend using a 4.5mm hook if your 18″ doll has a larger waist.

More detailed information on sizing is included in the pattern. Gauge is very important for this pattern as you want your doll clothes to fit. The doll’s crochet clothes set uses approximately 38g (111m/122yd) of yarn.
