Summer is on its way, and it got me inspired to create a free sunflower applique crochet pattern.

Sunflower Crochet Pattern
This easy crochet sunflower pattern is beginner friendly and the small Summer flower is quick and easy to make.
These small crochet sunflower appliqués are perfect to get you in the mood for summer. The mini appliques are a great stash buster too! The little petals pop out giving the mini sunflower appliqué a 3D effect.

How to crochet a sunflower applique
The mini sunflower appliqué is a fast, easy, beginner friendly crochet pattern. The sunflower motifs use only a small amount of yarn, so they’re great to use up scraps.
To make the small sunflower appliqué I used DK/Light Worsted yarn and a 4mm crochet hook. But, you could try out different yarn weights with the recommended hook for different sized motifs. These little sunflowers are also included in this cute dolls dress crochet pattern.
