How to crochet a granny square blanket?

The granny square blanket pattern is easy enough for beginners, in fact, it was my very first project that started my crochet addiction. You can use any yarn with the crochet hook recommended on the skein wrapper to make the granny square blanket. The continuous granny square is also one of the best stash busters out there, you can use up every scrap of leftover yarn on this project. You will be crocheting in the round and will need to know how to make a magic ring and the double crochet stitch, that’s it!
